Fixing computer problems can be expensive, but it doesn't always have to be.  With over 20 years of supporting PCs and Mac, I have found that most people just don't know where to start when it comes to computer problems.  Too many people were talked into buying unnecessary hardware or software by eager local electronic stores clerks.

So I put my experience and my process on this web site to help those of you who are new to the tech support industry, or maybe you just wanted to be able to fix things yourself.

Microsoft has released a super critical patch today that fixes critical flaws in most versions of Internet Explorer.  It has been reported that hundreds of thousands of web site have been poisoned to execute malware if a user is using an unpatched version of IE.

You can update your computer using Windows Update or download individual patches for your specific version here

If you are using any version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, you need to patch it immediate.  Alternatively, users are recommended to switch to FireFox, Chrome, or Safari browsers.
