Beware of VoIP systems´ security leaks

Experts revealed security leaks on some major systems used for calling over internet, concretely Skype and Google Voice. Security leaks in these programs allow attackers to call from others´ accounts or steal valuable information from the called people, so called vishing. Such attack is very difficult to track. Affected accounts will then serve in similar way as botnets from infected PCs.

New Trojan Targets Vulnerable Microsoft Office® Users

Opening email attachments just got a bit more risky, especially for Microsoft Office® users working in the energy sector. Security software company Symantec® reports a new malware program named Trojan.Laziok arrives in emails and exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft Office® that actually should have been patched by users back in April 2012.
