As has become tradition, this year we have also seen increased activity of phishing websites and active malware just before the Christmas season, when consumers begin purchasing in bulk over the Internet. Our warnings extend out to smarphones as well this year, where attackers are going with the trends and even here have been focusing on fraudulent activity involving Christmas-based themes.
