Experts believe Morcut, aka Crisis worm, which is aimed at Apple® users is behind recent Mac system hacks. It is a spy worm, which is focused on sensitive information about users and it is also responsible for the monitoring of communication tools that are active in operation systems. It is also able to control a webcam installed on the computer. According to experts, the worm contains parts of the commercial spy software from Hacking Team Company.

Opening email attachments just got a bit more risky, especially for Microsoft Office® users working in the energy sector. Security software company Symantec® reports a new malware program named Trojan.Laziok arrives in emails and exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft Office® that actually should have been patched by users back in April 2012.
