Meeting the Rise in U.S. Cyber Security Demands

Cyber security is in demand around the world. In the U.S., the increase in external as well as internal computer security threats is causing a shortage in the industry. Not only is there a current lack of qualified cybersecurity professionals, analysts aren’t sure how this shortage and the amount of money it will take to hire skilled security experts will play out in the future, reports the RAND® Corp.  Encouragingly, evidence shows a rise in cyber security education as well as students majoring in the field of computer science. Experts suggest it may just take time for this increase to meet demand.
