Microsoft® July Security Bulletin Patches Two Critical Vulnerabilities

The Microsoft® monthly security update release for July contains two critical vulnerabilities, one of which provides fixes for all versions of Internet Explorer®.  The second critical patch repairs issues with all desktop versions of Windows Vista®, Windows® 7, Windows® 8 and Windows® RT, and all servers newer than Windows Server® 2003. The only server exceptions are those running on systems powered by Intel® Itanium® processors. Other security bulletins for July include three with a severity rating of important and another listed as moderate.
