Microsoft gained access to the Zeus botnet control servers.

Microsoft, together with the U.S. Marshals, lawfully acquired access to servers that used to operate the botnet Zeus.
39 people were accused of operating and coding the botnets. Zeus is currently the world's largest botnet and includes
up to 18 million infected computers.Over the past five years, experts estimate that the botnet helped to steal roughly $100 million.
