Online password manager LastPass hacked
One of the most popular password management services revealed on Monday that attackers had managed to steal users' email addresses and some other information. However, the company claims that no encrypted data from users' password vaults were stolen. The service's users are now asked to change their master password - this is essential especially for users with simple passwords, because these users are most at risk of having their accounts compromised. This is not the first time the service has had problems with hackers - four years ago, LastPass was also compromised.
