Secunia Finds Increased Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows®

International IT security company Secunia released its annual vulnerability review, finding the numbers in Microsoft Windows® operating systems has risen. Microsoft Windows® 7 and Windows XP® doubled their vulnerability numbers from 2012 to 2013, with Windows® 7 moving from 50 to 102 and Windows XP® increasing from 49 to 99 during the one-year span. Windows® 8 topped the previous two with 156 vulnerabilities, due in part to the integration of Adobe Flash® Player, which had 55 vulnerabilities of its own.
