Security Company AVG Suffers Website Hack

Security software company AVG reportedly had its website attacked by a pro-Palestinian group called the KDMS team. Recent visitors to the AVG website were greeted with an audio recording of the Palestinian national anthem along with a message and images focusing on the Palestinian and Israeli land dispute. According to reports, it appears the attack is a Domain Name System or DNS hijacking, which redirected AVG website visitors to a different IP address. Sensitive data, including customer information, with AVG seems to have remained secure.
