USB Disks – One of the Largest Vulnerabilities

Statistics show that very popular USB disks are a risky item in the data security area. The most common risk is obviously connected with theft or cases of lost devices. Often we can see a trend of malware spreading from the use of a USB disk, see the most widly spread worm, Conficker. According to experts, this is a bad situation because the users are not aware of these threats and use the same USB device for private and business purposes. Many companies haven't created rules that would prevent the proliferation of such malware. And, in companies where the use of USB devices are regulated, those rules are very often broken.
