During yesterday, our anti-spam lab has seen dozens of new phishing sites with harmful content focusing on this report. Criminals are also trying to optimize their sites aggressively to push into the front ranks of search engines asking for the latest news, exclusive photos and videos of the intervention itself. When you visit their Web site, the user is then redirected to malware or other potentially dangerous sites. Security software company Symantec® reports a new malware program named Trojan.Laziok arrives in emails and exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft Office® that actually should have been patched by users back in April 2012.
