Facebook under aggressive attack

Security experts are reporting that the social network, Facebook, has been attacked again. This time a very aggressive method was reported to have been used during this past weekend, with over 300,000 attacks within a few hours – all being blocked. The attack came from a picture of a woman wearing a bikini, which then suggested the installation of malware. Again, experts are pointing out how strong and simultaneously weak applications can be in social networks. The very nature of community sites invites the viral distribution of malware, and for that reason we continue to warn our users to practice caution when working with social sites.
