New Browser Security Study

Security experts from Accuvant have released the results of a comparison test between the mainstream web browsers: Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox. When combined, these browsers account for 93% of internet users, The study was focused on browser security features, such as dealing with exploits, malicious link detection and others. Chrome came out on top as the most secure browser. Chrome uses Sandbox - a security mechanism which keeps active content on web pages separate from your operating system which, along with many other security features, helps to keep your computer safe while you are online.

Can you imagine a single received MMS could allow hackers to access all your data on your phone? Meet Stagegright, the exploit that is a threat for 950 million smartphones with Android. Vulnerability like this is very dangerous because it does not require any action by the victim - all the hacker needs to compromise your smarthphone is your phone number.
