Target Hack Leads Investigators to Two Eastern Europeans

Malware that reportedly stole customer names, credit or debit card numbers, expiration dates and security codes from Target shoppers during this past holiday shopping season allegedly has been traced to two Eastern Europeans. The Kaptoxa malware, also known as BlackPOS, intercepted payment details after customers swiped cards at point-of-sale terminals between November 27 and December 15 at Target, which the company confirmed. No arrests have been made at this time.
