Worm Conficker

We recently informed you about the worm called Conficker (aka, Net-worm.Kido) and according to industry experts it has spread to extreme epidemic size. The next massive waves of attacks are expected within the next few days, and on April 1st the newest version of the worm which is now inactive on infected computers are expected to be activated. No one knows what the target is so far, but we strongly recommend that everyone update their operating system and security applications regularly.

New Trojan Targets Vulnerable Microsoft Office® Users

Opening email attachments just got a bit more risky, especially for Microsoft Office® users working in the energy sector. Security software company Symantec® reports a new malware program named Trojan.Laziok arrives in emails and exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft Office® that actually should have been patched by users back in April 2012.
