How Do I Delete my Twitter® Account
Twitter® is classic social network where you can share messages with people. To learn about the creation of an account you can read the article that focuses on setting up a Twitter® account. However, a situation may arise where you want to permanently delete this Twitter® account, so this article will show you how to accomplish this. It is quite simple to do and is described in the instructions below.
To deactivate your Twitter® account:
- Open your Internet browser and go to the Twitter® home page.
- Log in to your account.
- In the main navigation bar, click on the dropdown menu on the right, next to your account name. Select the “Settings” option.
- At the bottom of the page, click on the “Deactivate my account” link.
- Click on the “Okay, fine, deactivate @” button.
- Insert your password and click on the “Deactivate account” button.
- Your Twitter® account will be permanently deleted in 30 days. If you change your mind, you can reactivate by logging in before your account is deleted permanently.
