How Do I Download the DivX Plus® Player Software
Playing movies on computers is being done more and more every day. However, you may encounter compatibility problems with the video file and your media player software. For the DivX® video format (a common format for movies) you need to have installed the audio and video codecs, which offer a high reproduction quality. In this article you will learn how to install a free media player that was developed by DivX® codec creators so there is seamless compatibility with these kinds of movies. It contains updated codecs, so you can be sure it will play any DivX® video.
Instructions for downloading and installation:
- Open your Internet browser and go to the DivX Plus® Player download page.
- Click on the “Free Download” button.
- Save the installation file to your hard drive.
- Locate the downloaded file and run the installer (double-click the file). If your operating system asks you for confirmation click the “Run” button.
- Select your language and click on the “Next” button.
- Read the “License terms” and select “I accept the terms in the license agreement” radio button. Click on the “Agree” button.
- In the left part of the windows you can select the components you want to install. Make your decision and click on the “Next” button.
- Then, decide if you want to install the Google Chrome™ Internet browser and click on the “Next” button.
- When the process finishes click on the “Finish” button.
- The DivX Player® software has been downloaded and installed. You can now play your movies using this application.
