How Do I Get Free Photo Editing Software
Picasa™ is a free photo and image editing software developed by Google™. It allows graphical operations on the photos taken by a digital camera. Imagine you take a photo with your camera. On the LCD display of your camera it looks nice. Then, you come home, download it to your computer, and on your monitor you can see some flaws such as red eye or inappropriate colors. Typically, you have only one solution; use any software available that can fix them. Using the instructions below, you can learn how to download and install Picasa™. With this free photo editing software, you can easily edit images and add a variety of effects to suit your needs.
Instructions:
- Open your Internet browser. Go to the Picasa™ home page. Click on the “Download Picasa” button.
- Save the file to any location in your computer.
- Locate the downloaded file and run the installer (double-click on the file). If your operating system asks you for confirmation, click on the “Run” button.
- The Picasa™ installer will automatically launch with the “License Agreement” page. Read the Terms of Service and click on the “I Agree” button.
- Set the location of the installation folder or leave it on the default and click on the “Install” button.
- At the “Completing Page,” check the checkboxes according to your preferences and click on the “Finish” button.
- Now you can get to work on those images!

- You can create photo albums in Picasa™ just by importing photos from a folder or directly from your camera.
