How Do I Remove a Member From a Facebook® Group

You can easily create a community group on Facebook®. This is described in the article that focuses on creating a Facebook® group. Removing a user or member of the Facebook® group is also easily accomplished and, the instructions below will show you  how to do this.

Removing a member from a Facebook® group:

  1. Log in to your Faceboo® account.
  2. In the left pane, click on the specific group in the “GROUPS” section.
  3. In the group’s heading, click on the “# Members” to see all of the members.
  4. Here, you can manage the rights for all members. To remove a member, click on the cross on the right, next to his or her name.
  5. Click on the “Confirm” button in the pop-up window.

Tips and Tricks:

  • If you want to ban the member permanently to avoid a future invitation by this user, check the “Ban permanently” checkbox in the confirmation window.
