Stuxnet Infection Continues Spreading, Reports Indicate

November 20, 2013  Malware News

Cyberweapon Stuxnet is an example of how a targeted cyberattack can go out of control, said Information Security Specialist Eugene Kaspersky, referring to the sophisticated computer worm’s foray into other arenas outside its intended target. According to Kaspersky Security Network, Stuxnet has infected more than 100,000 computer systems worldwide, affecting approximately 30,000 organizations.
