Trojan.Vundo Gen

Our antispyware laboratory has detected the Vundo.Gen type Trojan attacks have significantly increased during the last week. The next massive waves of attacks are expected at the end of this week and beginning of the next week. We strongly recommend that you keep your security applications up to date, check our latest database. The actual version of this Trojan type is monitoring the activity of your computer and once your pc workload is minimum, the Trojan starts trying to download more malware into your computer. Such malware can gain the attacker profit for example by using click fraud systems etc.

New Trojan Targets Vulnerable Microsoft Office® Users

Opening email attachments just got a bit more risky, especially for Microsoft Office® users working in the energy sector. Security software company Symantec® reports a new malware program named Trojan.Laziok arrives in emails and exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft Office® that actually should have been patched by users back in April 2012.
